From suspicious micron counts that reveal blended fibers to DNA markers that don't match the breeding records, every silky lock tells a story. But when Al discovers the victim was systematically downgrading small farms' premium fiber to buy it cheaply for luxury brands, she realizes the killer is protecting small breeders from exploitation softer than any alpaca fleece.
