Maybe it's because I'm to deep in law enforcement, or have experience with PTSD but I found this book very... Unrealistic, but also frustrating based on characters actions. Kept cringing over choices made and reasoning, also not a fan of the "stupid cop" view of things. I was really shocked to find this book scored so high. As I'd expected more people to dislike it.

If you have read book 1 and 2 in this series, and you liked them - feel free to skip this one! A horribly disappointing end to an amazing series. Without a doubt one of the worst books I’ve read in recent years. There are some good 1 star reviews on GoodReads, which sum up my thoughts perfectly. Ended up listening to it on 1.75 speed just to get it over with.

Långt ifrån lika bra som föregående böcker i serien. Inte alls samma stil, ingen enkel deckarhistoria snarare en sjuk hjärnas berättelse... Nä, inte alls vad jag ville lyssna på!

Jeg elsket denne boken. Åpenbar «plottwist» som etterfølges av et langt mer uforutsigbart og emosjonelt utmattende vendepunkt . Pips PTSD farger historien, og selv om det gjør boken tung å lese har Holly Jackson beskrevet mange av mekanismene ved PTSD på en god og innsiktsfull måte.

I liked the first two books, but this one made me feel uncomfortable and I hated almost all the decisions that were made during the story. It kinda took away my love for the first two books

Even doorzetten in het begin. De depressieve gedachten worden minder en het verhaal beter. Heb het bijna in een ruk afgeluisterd.

Uuu I am really disappointed in the lasy instalent ofbrhis trilogy. I loved the second one with its bittersweet ending. But this one was too long, too melodramatic for taste and overall too clever for its own good. I understand that you want to give a story a closure, twist ending and some kind of moral but ... I didnt like it.

What a waste, and what a horrible ending to a good trilogy. I thought it was a 5 stars until I reached half ways and thought, what's going on? No, this isn't happening. This book was a disappointment 😞.
