Such a great book! Need this to be a movie. I cried like a baby, so good and so wholesome adored it.
A love story with a difference - an unforgettable tale of life, loss and making each day count in the INTERNATIONAL NO. 1 BESTSELLING book of TIKTOK fame, clocking over 100 million views and counting! The First to Die at the End, the prequel to They Both Die at the End, is now available in hardback and available to pre-order in paperback, coming July 2023.
On September 5th, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: they're going to die today. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they're both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: there's an app for that. It's called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure - to live a lifetime in a single day.
Another beautiful, heartbreaking and life-affirming book from the brilliant Adam Silvera, author of More Happy Than Not, History Is All You Left Me, What If It's Us, Here's To Us and the Infinity Cycle series.
PRAISE FOR ADAM SILVERA:
'There isn't a teenager alive who won't find their heart described perfectly on these pages.' Patrick Ness, author of The Knife of Never Letting Go
'Adam Silvera is a master at capturing the infinite small heartbreaks of love and loss and grief.' Nicola Yoon, author of Everything, Everything
'A phenomenal talent.' Juno Dawson, author of Clean and Wonderland
'Bold and haunting.' Lauren Oliver, author of Delirium

This book ripped my heart out and threw it in the mud. Adam Silvera, wheres your adress? Just wanna talk :)All that aside its a wonderful book that I couldn't stop reading. Terribly well thought out and unbelievably unpredictable, despite the title.

Yes, just yes. Just two boys preparing for death in such a beautiful way. Yup, this had me crying.

One of the best, funniest, saddest and most beautiful books I’ve read(or listened to I mean)! You have to listen fly away to a different reality and a beautiful and touching story!

This is one of the best books I have ever read, which says a lot since I don’t typically read these kind of books (A fantasy fantast here) The connection between Mateo and Rufus is so good, not rushed or made up. I really recommend it, a lovely book!

I loved the way the little storylines were interwoven with the main storyline. A really emotional book but not all sad, at some points it also made me happy. I loved the message of this book. And as always in a Adam Silvera book: great LGBTQ+ representation.

The idea was brilliant but the performance itself didn’t fulfill the expectations at all. I don’t advise it those who like deep and meaningful pieces. For those who‘re into something superficial and easy to understand - you’re welcome.
