Along the way, there are marvelous boots, dangerous witches, a scarred war prince, a dashing Bandit King, and more than a few consequences for anyone foolish enough to underestimate a fairy-tale heroine.

Straying from the Path brings together two novellas and four short stories inspired by familiar tales including Rapunzel, Puss in Boots, Diamonds and Toads, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
