I figured being an extra for a local production would be a harmless distraction—a way for me to forget my charmed life is imploding. Only it turns out my former crush is a jerk, and I'm paired with a man whose last name guarantees he's my enemy. Lucas Burke is gorgeous and interesting, but even if he weren't a Burke, he's what my elderly landlord would call a cad. I know better than to have anything to do with him. Or at least that's what I think until accidents start happening on set . . .
