I do enjoy a feisty female lead but this… is an immature narcissist who cannot take any criticism or even love without lashing out and blame everyone except herself for her own mistakes. The least likeable person I’ve ever had the misfortune to read about. Read it with gritted teeth, only in the beginning it was a cute banter but then escalated to pure toxic behaviour. Do not recommend this behaviour in a relationship at all, red flags all over the place. Lucky it is a fiction!

Jackie's development is unrealistic. She is so self-destructive that people have to force success on her for the book to continue. I kept reading only because I liked the rest of the series, but didn't worth my time.

This book is SO my type 😉Crazy quick banter and scores of profanity-laced sarcasm just makes me want to curl up and cuddle this writer. The fact it’s Teddy Hamilton barking back at the tiny flame haired barista from hell portrayed by Elizabeth Hart is perfect. She manages to balance the ultimate sarcastic sweetness tinged with venom as they clash, while staying true to character letting her vulnerability shine through. Loved it all!!
