I’ve read this book series and find them open to varying interpretations. Fiction is fiction and as ADULTS, we are all allowed to choose what tickles our fancy -as long as it doesn’t in any way impact or hurt anyone, including ourselves. WITH THAT SAID, I don’t feel these books should NOT represent what a HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP SHOULD LOOK LIKE. Therefore I do not recommended them to young or impressionable readers. After being made aware of the authors blatant RACIST statements on social media and in established media, I AM CHOOSING TO DISTANCE MYSELF from this book series and all her other works as well as the author herself. This is due to my personal beliefs, which IN NO WAY coincide with the authors or her statements. I STAND FIRM in MY BELIEFS that ALL HUMANS ARE BORN GOOD AND DESERVE EQUAL RIGHTS IN LOVE AND LIFE. Take a stand and choose LOVE over hate. 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️
