This book was SO insanely slow and detailed. It’s as if the author has copy pasted information from Wikipedia in some places. Detailed explanations about glocks etc. or when she repeatedly explain how often they have sex or exactly what’s on their wedding menu (dish by dish). I COULDNT CARE LESS .The second half of the book picked up somewhat, but my main problem is that I absolutely hate being inside our main character‘s head. She is insanely stupid and I suspect somewhat of a sociopath. The plot is propelled forward solely because of her poor decisions and it’s making me want to scream. She is a liar (to both herself and everyone around her) and has such a screwed view of what is going on and who to trust. The husband isn’t much better. So many red flags and gas lighting. I enjoyed the twists towards the end but I hated the characters so much at that point that I couldn’t bring myself to really care what happened to them.

Nice book but the narrator needs to do something about her saliva smacking sounds! There are spit/smacking sound during almost all her reading, súper annoying! To bad ‘cause she narrates well!!

So slow... Although I was intrigued by the beginning I lost interest after a couple of hours with no excitement whatsoever and basically nothing happening...

I really enjoyed this book. It was clever and well though out. I liked that it was unpredictable but not unrealistic. Thrilling but not over the top scary. Recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book. It was clever and well though out. I liked that it was unpredictable but not unrealistic. Thrilling but not over the top scary. Recommend it!
