It quickly gets old to have to go through the endless descriptions of how the main character feels. It soon scatters all suspense and certainly all action scenes. Worked ok in the first novel when her personality was to be set, but now it’s just ineffective and frustrating.

Loved it! I prefer the love interest in this book but I think the storyline is better in the first one. (Hence the 4 stars and not the 5). Love the writing style! Definitely going to start the novella and third book straight away.

No me termina de convencer la saga. Juliette me desespera con tanto lamento, Adam y ella no hacen otra cosa más que desearse y lastimarse tratando de no lastimarse. No veo una conexión real ahí. Juliette y Warner, entre la rivalidad y la obsesión, están construyendo algo más solido, sea lo que sea. Kenji es el único sol dentro este cielo nublado. No solo es el comic relief, es un excelente líder, y no tiene miedo de decir la verdad y poner a las personas en su lugar. LO AMO! Hubo un plot-twist y unas cosas que por fin hicieron sentido, las escenas medio subiditas de tono también son buenas, pero de ahí en fuera no me está dando el ancho. Los voy a continuar porque ya empecé, todavía me dan curiosidad Juliette y Warner, y porque escuchar los audiolibros me lo pone todo más fácil.

Var länge sedan jag läst/lyssnat på en bok som fängslade mig så. Den var så intensivt mot slutet att jag glömde att andas. Gillar verkligen hur beskrivande den är. Älskar att det är flera böcker kvar!
