No one knows what the heck that means, except Gumbo, who's nowhere to be found. What Simone does know is that there's been a sudden influx in unique patients. With very unique needs that, she's forced to admit, she's not qualified to meet.

But at home, things are stuffed, and not in the fun way. Her son is staying at the house, as well as her new mate's daughter. The father she's never met is very keen for her to write, but the poisoned ink she's supposed to use has its own set of side effects. And the mystery of the surprise sibling is unraveling at a frustratingly slow pace.

The Magnolia is expanding. And that's not a bad thing. It just means shuffling a few things around, including time alone with her fella, who's markings are showing up all over her body.

For the first time, Simone has to think like someone who owns an enterprise. Whatever. She can boss babe with the best of them. Juggle work and home? Not a problem for a middle-aged witch.

Unless, of course, the hem frays. And takes her powers with it.
