#1 I’m currently going through another expired relationship. I’ve learned that the only thing instant in life is our reactions, and I’m no longer interested in mine. I want to be Mr. Steel Cut Oats. I’ve humanized the therapist, used the Internet as a therapeutic tool, and taught life coaches a different way into growth.

#2 I grew up in a family that only discussed numbers around the dinner table. I had no emotional cushion or modeling. I lived underneath a sense of panic created by my parents’ fears of not living The American Dream.

#3 We must start with how we feel if we want to grow and live at our potential. We must start expressing our state, instead of trying to fix other people’s feelings.

#4 If you don’t allow yourself to feel, you’ll never be able to experience growth. If you don’t allow your feelings to be expressed and validated, your new path will have no direction. You are not living up to your potential.
