this short story offers a fresh perspective on the classic myth of Galatea and Pygmalion. Miller explores the aftermath of the myth and how Galatea might have been treated in a relationship with someone like Pygmalion. it’s a realistic portrayal of the oppression Galatea may have faced in such a dynamic. before reading check tw for sensitive content.
