Botany and Brujería: A Short Story

As ransom for his kidnapped daughter, botanist Vernal Sezoni must travel to the Amazon rainforest to recover a rare orchid. Vernal reaches the remote jungle village to discover the witch doctor is none other than the love of his life, Soledad Kurasu, who left him broken-hearted years earlier. When the powerful bruja reveals the truth of her disappearance and puts herself in danger to save his daughter, his hardened heart thaws. Will he be able to let her walk away again?
