The Good guys and this series are absolutely amazing

Exciting , funny and could not stop once started

I hate litrpgs.i never complete most. They have narcissistic heroes with ego size of melon. They spend lot of time wasting on real world back story while a reader of such sub genre would just want the game world. Most of the heroes have cheat code like abilities that make them noob to god at the end of chapter nine. And yucky harem thing. And overdoing the rpg thing with level up notification every page. NOT THIS ONE. May be you may feel a drag from 10-30% mark. If you persist past that,you are in for a fun ride. World building is different from normal LIT RPG stuff. MC is fun guy with a little messiah complex. Not overly done. There is definitely an overarching plot with multiple factions. Not focused on level ups and unlocking skills.more plot driven. Hooked into this. Will definitely read the sequel. Recommended for epic fantasy fans not interested in game lit.
