This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice. Enoch Soames by Max Beerbohm is a single short story presented here as a complete audiobook in English, narrated by an AI voice. It is a witty literary fantasy about ambition, reputation, and the longing to outlive one's own obscurity. The story follows an obscure poet whose hunger for lasting fame leads into a playful meditation on artistic vanity, intellectual fashion, and the uneasy boundary between satire and the supernatural. Dry, ironic and gently mocking, it balances comedy with a quiet unease about what it means to be remembered. The collection contains one story: Enoch Soames. It suits listeners who enjoy classic English literature, literary satire, fantasy with a humorous edge, and stories about writers and the art world. A good choice for a short, thoughtful listen that rewards attention to its wit and irony, and for anyone curious about the fin de siecle literary scene as seen through a sharp comic eye.
