When Lyle Summers learns his neighbor has died, he just wants to do the right thing for her four King Charles Spaniels, so he takes them in, intending for it to be temporary… until he learns she left them to him in her will. But trouble is brewing in the form of his neighbor's daughter, who thinks the valuable purebreds should have come to her. And Lyle's neighbor may be involved in a dog-fighting ring.
