Verhaal lijkt op zich wel leuk, maar door de ronduit irritante manier van voorlezen ben ik voortijdig afgehaakt. De vrouw die voorleest laat haar stem aan het eind van iedere zin omhoog gaan. Onvoorstelbaar dat iemand haar geschikt achtte om voor te lezen.

Jag började på boken men detta går inte. Uppläsaren är för mig katastrof för läsupplevelsen. Ledsen för det

Couldn't listen for long, the reader pronounces every sentence as if it's a sarcastic remark. Very annoying.

Hade fått högre betyg om inte uppläsaren betonat så underligt. Kunde till slut bara höra get det och inget annat...

The story can be interesting, if you can get past the monotone narration. I have suffered through to the end by the sheer willpower, because I really wanted to know the end. But by the time i got there, I was so annoyed with the narrator, that I just kept thinking: "What a damage a listless, unengaging narration can do to a good book"

The entire story feels like a poem, in the best way. The narrator fits the tone of the story well.

The book itself is quite interesting, but the narrator utterly ruins it. She has one intonation to sentences, and the lack of inflection and variation makes it feel a bit like Google text to speech is reading for you.

Gräsligt dålig uppläsning, entonig och malande. Handlingen lyfter aldrig utan bara går runt, runt utan meningsfulla händelser. Jag har verkligen försökt, men bryter vid 1,5 tim.
