The author Siegfried Freudenfels has been working as an illustrator for children's books for over 10 years. In 2010, his first free ebook, a new edition of famous children's classics, was published as a free children's book. The works soon became known and apart from further Good Night stories for children, children's games and lullabies appeared, also as free ebooks.
