After a long time I listened to a chilling crime story. Just awesome

Having a flawed female protagonist and still have her be the hero of the story is almost an insurmountable challenge and Chantal has definitely achieved it. Kudos to the translator for bringing out the Indianness in Julia Menken. It hurt to see the heroine go through so much pain, especially when she is partly responsible for it. Yes, there were double standards and hypocrisy, but then that's life. Very well written, translated and narrated by the team. I wanted to take away one star for the sad ending, but I can't be unfair.

Ok types, predictable though and very very stretched. Doesn't have material beyond just 1 hr story.I suggest to just listen part 1 and then part 10 (optionally part 9) directly at 1.5x speed and you wouldn't have missed much.
