Academic books as audiobooks doesn't really seem to work unless and until it is accompanied with the text or we have the text with us! Constant pauses and rewind seem to take away the essence of the audiobook making me conclude that this medium isn't best suited for this genre but on the other hand books like Plato's Republic or Hind Swaraj by Gandhi which are written in dialogue form can work best in this medium. Either this medium develops further or better add-on are provided i don't think i would be satisfied in listening to academic books here even if they're introductory. I had an unpleasant experience listening to this, and the views written above were based on 6 minutes of listening.
