Somehow I get Alice and I’m sorry for her in so many ways, I loved family dynamics, loved Alice and Henry. Definitely a fresh perspective to enemies to lovers plot without any smut or something like that, definitely something in my alley! So many great lessons, glad that I’ve read it. ❤️🥰

Ah what a listen. I'm trying to come up with suitable adjectives that would do this book justice but unfortunately I'm not as good a writer as Ann Liang. But I WILL say this one thing that I came out of the end of this book feeling....whole? Like I'd been through a 360 of a specific experience and got everything out of it. Storytel asks us to choose emojis and emotions to describe how the book was after it ends and in this one i chose all the good ones except for mind blowing and that's because it isn't. It's a gradual, transition ary journey. There IS shock value and even a bit of action in here for sure but the story started with the MC being an anxious, always on the verge of a panic attack person and ended with tranquility, both in the MC and in the book. So no it didn't blow my mind, it made me settle down on the soft earthy grass and shone the sun down on me through the trees. P.S. the romance in it is so sweet. Rivals to lovers trope. I wish it was mentioned in the book blurb!

Började lyssna för osynlighetsdelen verkar skoj men det var en Intressant bok om klasskillnader. Romansen var mest i bakgrunden vilket jag tyckte var lagom.
