First time in my life I have heard a novel this long. What a journey of each character. Thoroughly loved everything about this book. Though I predict some of the events, some were total surprise for me. Loved how at the end both the archenemies came to know the good things they did for each other.

Kane and AbelBy Jeffery ArcherThis book took more than a year to complete. No, it's not that long book, but I couldn't finish it due to my personal reasons. May be font size and length of the book can be excuse for that.This is the story of two boys. One is rich, other is poor. But both have their struggles and journey to get the high position in their respective business. Story from childhood to old age written smoothly and beautifully. Abel's story was completely inspiring, who was forced to leave his family, survived war, become war prisoner at very small age, escaping from prison, some how reaching the country of dreams and with time achieved too much. Parallel story of Kane, who managed to achieve big too single handedly without any support. Then there was a rivalry between these too which remains for quite a long time. World war incidents also covered in this book like author's other books for example, paths of glory, only time will tell etc. Overall a good decent read.

Nice and enjoyable novel.Keeps you interested in guessing whats going to follow as you go through the book.I had guessed that son of Kane and dtr of Abel will get married.Good bool I liked it.

Most times we get so engrossed in our bigotries, we don't even pause for a moment to ask ourselves 'Are my ardent beliefs worth it?'. This is a lovely book and can inspire open minded people.

If a story telling is a art , Jeffrey was Picasso at it. He took me to the journey of Kane and Abel from birth to death. It’s just beautiful and astronishing.

I always avoid books over 10 hours, but thank heavens I didn't do with this one. I'm fulfilled.
