Premchand is beyond review. I won’t go there. The narrator does the job extremely well, capturing the soul of the story in his narration. If the book was set chapter wise (considering these are short stories) instead of one big continuous stream, I would have found it easier to navigate between stories. Also I find lack of a meaningful pause between the end of one story and the beginning of the next a bit unnerving. If one is happy to overlook these minor inconveniences, then absolute and delightful entertainment is more or less guaranteed when listening to this book.
