Summary of A. Helwa's Secrets of Divine Love

#1 Allah is the Creator of the universe and the light of the heavens and the earth. He is the One absolute, transcendent Reality that unites all differences in the ocean of His love. He is the light that inspires flowers to bloom.

#2 God is the source of all miracles, and He is always blessing us with them. He sees everything in existence with His perfect vision.

#3 The word Allah is the Arabic word for God. It is a proper name God has given himself, and it cannot be linguistically broken down. It is derived from ilah, which in Arabic means god, and when the definite article al is added to ilah it creates al-ilah, which translates to The God.

#4 We cannot express the eternal and transcendent nature of Allah with mortal tongues. We cannot cram infinity into the finite arms of 26 letters. Thus, we must humble ourselves and realize our inability to comprehend God’s infinite nature does not mean we cannot have a relationship with Him.
