Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Book Preview:

#1 Gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse based on a 1938 play written by the British playwright Patrick Hamilton, Gas Light. It is when a manipulator tries to isolate and brainwash the victim to control the victim’s version of reality.

#2 Gaslighting is a specific type of manipulation where the manipulator tries to get someone else to question their reality, memory, or perceptions. It is done by forcefully asserting something and making up flimsy evidence to support it.

#3 Narcissists have little capacity for empathizing with others. They are too self-absorbed to comprehend what other individuals are feeling. They are also rarely apologetic, remorseful, or guilty.

#4 Because they are unable to understand the feelings of others, narcissists are unable to connect with them on an emotional level. They cannot see the world from anyone else’s perspective.
