The Season's Vagrant Light is Sheri Benning's first collection of poetry to be published outside her native Canada. It includes the best poems from both of her two previous publications, together with a generous selection of new work. Benning's early poems are infused with the light and hue of her homeland, 'its cities sewn by rivers, its horizons spilling snow, spilling stars'. The newer work travels farther afield, to Russia, New Mexico, Scotland.
