Those who have delved deeply into Biblical lore know that the sayings which we have in our Christian Bible, in English translations, comprise only a very small part of the true teachings of Jesus. We know. also, that Jesus taught two separate, and distinct teachings; that is, he taught one teaching to the great mass of people, and another teaching to those who were able to understand. We have evidence of this in the gospel of Matthew, where the disciples, questioning Jesus because he taught the people in one manner, and themselves in another, received this answer: "Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.
