I Woke Up to Fk Up!

Authors Biography: In 2014 Rhonda’s art rose from the ashes of despair. An unbridled passion to paint led her to conquer her own personal heartache. Trusting the whispers deep within, she cathartically transferred her soul onto the canvas. Her art took on a life of its own, conveying resilience and emotional encouragement to the world. When she could not paint, she drew or took photographs. Writing each piece's story to deepen its message of promise.

Soon after, she began selling locally and posting her work online. Her current social following exceeds 5600 people. In 2015 Rhonda intuitively switched from a critical care RN to one serving the mentally ill. Every day, every moment, she wonders, “Is there a better way to help people dealing with depression and anxiety? Is my art bigger than healing me?”

These pages are her effort to transcend hope.

“I Woke Up to FK Up” is about moving away from the consequences most of us suffer.

At one point or another, we face trials. Struggles such as illness, addiction, betrayal, and bullying. Divorce, violence, neglect, judgement, or loss to name a few. These words and these images are about a transformation, a metamorphosis towards a better life. All graphics are her originals and words personally penned by Rhonda.
