महात्मा गांधी यांचे नातू ( मणिलाल यांचे चिरंजीव ) अरुण गांधी यांचे बालपण दक्षिण आफ्रिकेत तर आयुष्याच्या मध्याचा काळ भारतात गेला. 14 एप्रिल 1934 ते 2 मे 2023 असे 89 वर्षांचे आयुष्य त्यांना लाभले. उत्तर काळात ते अमेरिकेत स्थायिक झाले होते. त्यांना त्यांच्या वयाच्या सहाव्या वर्षी काही दिवस आणि वयाच्या बारा - तेराव्या वर्षी अठरा महिने आजोबांचा सहवास लाभला. त्या काळात आजोबांचा त्यांच्यावर जो प्रभाव पडला, त्यावर आधारित 'लिगसी ऑफ लव्ह' हे इंग्रजी पुस्तक 2003 मध्ये आले, ते अमेरिकेतील Gandhi Worldwide Education Institute ने प्रकाशित केले होते. त्या पुस्तकाचा हा मराठी अनुवाद.

Mahatma Gandhi's grandson (Manilal's Chiranjeev) Arun Gandhi spent his childhood in South Africa and middle life in India. He had a life span of 89 years from 14 April 1934 to 2 May 2023. In the later part of his life, he settled in America. He had the company of his grandfather for a few days at the age of six and for eighteen months at the age of twelve-thirteen. An English book 'Legacy of Love' came out in 2003, based on the influence of his grandfather on him during that time, published by the Gandhi Worldwide Education Institute in America. This is the Marathi translation of that book.
