डॉ. ऐश्वर्या रेवडकर ही स्त्रीरोगतज्ञ तरूणी आदिवासी भागात आरोग्यसेवा द्यायची हा ध्येयवाद घेऊन छत्तीसगड राज्यातील नक्षलग्रस्त जिल्हा बिजापूर येथील जिल्हा रूग्णालयात 2017 मध्ये दाखल झाली. तिथे काम करताना तिला रूग्णालयात व परिसरात वावरताना जे काही अनुभव आले, त्याचे चित्रण करणारी तिची लेखमाला 2018 मध्ये साधना साप्ताहिकात प्रसिद्ध झाली. ती लेखमाला नंतर ऑगस्ट २०१९ मध्ये साधना प्रकाशनाकडून पुस्तकरुपाने आली. या पुस्तकातील प्रामाणिक निवेदन, विलक्षण अनुभव आणि लेखिकेची डोळ्यासमोर प्रसंग जिवंत करण्याची लेखनशैली यामुळे पुस्तक वाचकप्रिय ठरले. या पुस्तकाला महाराष्ट्र राज्य सरकारचा ललित गद्य लेखनासाठीचा ताराबाई शिंदे स्मृती पुरस्कार (2019) देण्यात आला. (हा पुरस्कार लेखकाच्या पहिल्या पुस्तकाला दिला जातो.) तसेच या पुस्तकाला यशवंतराव चव्हाण युवा लेखक (2021) हा मानाचा पुरस्कारसुद्धा मिळाला.

Dr. Ayshwarya Revadkar, a yound gynaecologist doctor from Maharashtra, decided to work in state of Chattisgarh for improvement of health services in tribal and maoist affected area and so joined Government district Hospital of Bijapur in 2017. It proved to be life-changing event for her. Since 2018, her articles about her experiences in the area about health and socio economic, cultural environment and new developments in positive direction started getting published in weekly Sadhana as bimonthly series for a year. Later, collection of these articles published as book 'Bijapur Diary' by Sadhana Publication, Pune in August 2019. Readers liked the book because of genuine writing about Adivasis in the Chattisgarh. Book has been awarded with Prestigious Tarabai Shinde Smriti Award by State Government Of Maharashtra for Fine Prose writing in 2019. (This award is given to an author's first book.) Also author has received Prestigious Yashwantrao Chavan Yuva Purskar (2021) in category of best literature for book Bijapur Diary.
