In 2013, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Myositis. My immune system had suddenly turned on me and was attacking all my muscles, it was very scary. I had gone from a very fit healthy person to someone who was struggling to walk. I felt like my life had been literally turned upside down overnight. The doctors told me there was no cause or cure and only wanted to put me on toxic medication. I did not accept that there was no cause, because the human body doesn’t just turn on itself for no reason!After doing my own research, I discovered that the cause was too many antibiotics, leading to gut yeast overgrowth Candida Albicans, which then leads on to Leaky Gut Syndrome. LGS is where microscopic holes are made in the lining of the gut, the lumen, by the yeast itself, then food is then able to enter the bloodstream and provoke an immune reaction.
