The status game This is one of the worst books I’ve ever read.It is a tiresome rant and towards the second half is somehow absolutely unbearable. I am proud of finishing it. It will help me finish better books. But a god awful book. It brings forwards all these actions and things that are wrong with our conduct. But the reversals it suggests are so stupid. Unforgivable. It literally wants you to become a plant instead of a human. Ultimately the book ends with these rules 1. practice warmth sincerity and competence 2. Make small moments of prestige3. Play a Hierarchy of games 4. Reduce your moral sphere5. Foster a trade off mindset6. Be different 7. Never forget you’re dreaming What a snooze fest.Took me so many days to finish.I could have spent this time on any other fiction or non fiction book.
