My second book by the author. I love the family love and easy storytelling of the novel.

Follow me for book reviews on instagram: @quirk_of_a_bookreader @ballijaswal’s ‘The Unlikely Adventure of the Shergill Sisters’ is a lighthearted take on modern sibling bonds and family complications. It’s about a mother who wishes for nothing else on her death bed but for her daughters to bond, and her three daughters who are now living their own separate lives. The generation gap and some family secrets are too wide to bridge the gap between them, but an unlikely trip to India brings them closer, reminding them of cultures and traditions, and an eternal indian family bond. The story is light-hearted without any extra drama. Go for it ! Rated: 3/5 stars 🌟 Audiobook available on @storytel.in

    Heartwarming

Balli has finally arrived to her ancestral land of India in a novel. Her stories are a bliss to read.

    Confusing

Ha ha ha the poor author doesn’t find anything good about India, and portrays as a nasty place, and everything is perfect in Britain no thieves, no beggars, no drug addicts, no child abuse !
