Fantasy

In the early 26th century, south of the Mason Dixon line, lives a province named Kellum. Georgia City, the most prominent metropolis within Kellum, has been seized by JALE Technotix Corporation, and transformed into the ultimate cybernetic hub of its time, and thus has aptly become known as “Cyborgia”. Rick Daley, the mogul owner of JALE, has aspirations that expand beyond Cyborgia and, accordingly, has concocted his career-defining plot to seize, in order to provide, the ultimate new power source for the city, and eventually the entire North American continent: extracting the energy of living beings. And this villainous plan goes into action right around the same time the nearby village of Cambridge—better known as “Christmastown”—is expanding its mission to teach people how to make miracles happen in their own lives specifically, and the world in general, through hard work and sacrifice. Springing into action to counter Rick Daley’s misguided ambitions are this story’s narrator—Thomas Givens—and his new friend and ally Night Crusader Simeon. As well, they are joined by their curious and somewhat mysterious coworker/friend John Simmons. But the difficulty of foiling Rick Daley’s plots increases via Daley’s shady dealings with Cyborgia’s local government and his particular targeting of Night Crusaders. This story is about more than merely a superhero answering the call to save the day from nefarious characters and their villainous dealings. This is about awakening and inspiring ordinary people to get busy with the little tasks that make extraordinary things happen.
