This is a classical story of William Shakespeare. The story is short is elaborated by philosophy and dialogues. Some of the dialogue looks like pinch dialogue of modern Indian cinemas. The movie veeram says in the title that the Vadakan pattu of Malayalam has some similarity with Mecbeth of Shakespeare. When I heard the full story it is found to be true.
