An endearing and powerful book. Thought provoking. Very enjoyable.Yes No Maybe So by Becky albertali and Aisha Saed is a very unforgettable book. Amazing plot. Amazing characters. Really good writing style. It is a lovely story with two main characters Maya and Jamie who reluctantly go together to campaign for a candidate but quickly get into it and try to bring a change in the community. It deals with a lot of heavy topics including islamophobia, discriminatory laws, politics, election campaigns accompanied by complicated friendships, families and relationships. One thing that I really liked is that it didn't feel like the cultural and religious diversity was forced. The book definitely has problems but the good parts were too good (hence the 5🌟). Since I am not an American so my point of view might be different from someone who lives there.Loved it. Left me quite emotional, angry (not at the book but some of the things that happen in the book which unfortunately are a reality)
