The free verse - style prose is done glorious justice in the audiobook version. A wonderful story of loads, warm and tragedies. As well as an insight into Dominican narrative

I absolutely loved this book. It has become one of my favourite books of 2022 and ever. It's so heartbreaking but so beautiful at the same time. It just has something that touches your heart and leaves you wondering about it. I know I will think about this book long after today.
