----- When Billy, a troubled young man, comes to private eye Cormoran Strike's office to ask for his help investigating a crime he thinks he witnessed as a child, Strike is left deeply unsettled. While Billy is obviously mentally distressed, and cannot remember many concrete details, there is something sincere about him and his story. But before Strike can question him further, Billy bolts from his office in a panic.
Trying to get to the bottom of Billy's story, Strike and Robin Ellacott - once his assistant, now a partner in the agency - set off on a twisting trail that leads them through the backstreets of London, into a secretive inner sanctum within Parliament, and to a beautiful but sinister manor house deep in the countryside.
And during this labyrinthine investigation, Strike's own life is far from straightforward: his newfound fame as a private eye means he can no longer operate behind the scenes as he once did. Plus, his relationship with his former assistant is more fraught than it ever has been - Robin is now invaluable to Strike in the business, but their personal relationship is much, much more tricky than that . . .
The most epic Robert Galbraith novel yet, LETHAL WHITE is both a gripping mystery and a page-turning next instalment in the ongoing story of Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott. ----- PRAISE FOR THE STRIKE SERIES: 'One of the most unique and compelling detectives I've come across in years' MARK BILLINGHAM 'The work of a master storyteller' DAILY TELEGRAPH 'Unputdownable. . . The plot is good but slightly elongated. Reader might feel a bit lost in the middle. Earlier books were better than this one.

Lethal White is the most meticulously written book in the series and the longest one because of the same. We find ourselves back in the dingy office of Strike and his now-partner Robin, where they are currently running a much more successful investigation agency along with two new hires, all thanks to the fame related to catching a serial killer. There is a lot more room given for the personal life of both Strike and Robin in this book. One key point that was different from the earlier books was that the murder was not the starting point of this book, but we worked towards the murder. Murder hit Robin and Strike when they were in the middle of another investigation. They are pulled into the case by this, and we find ourselves solving two crimes at once. The best part of the book was the way each piece of this complicated puzzle falls into place at the end. Trust me when I say there were a lot of weird pieces in this one. All in all, the book was a page-turner, and now I find
