Sandi's life began with a loving two parent home and then in the blink of an eye, everything changed. Her life would never be the same. The grief she felt from multiple childhood losses was never addressed. Instead, this young girl buried her own pain within and took on internalizing the grief of the adults around her. Somehow Sandi didn't succumb to what could've easily become a life of depression, addiction, and other self-sabotaging choices. Something within her, something she inherited from the legacy of women before her; something or someone made her use her inner strength to go forward. All the childhood traumas Sandi experienced didn’t break her, instead they deepened her inner strength, her perseverance and her resiliency.
