The inner child is part of our psyche that is programmed since childhood. When our inner child is healthy, we tend to be inspiring exciting and creative. However, some of us do not have a happy childhood. We may have experienced emotionally immature parents or caregivers. That gives us wounds of not feeling important.

We do not feel our needs are being met or our being is not being seen as who we are. There is a constant need for approvals and validations. We feel emotionally neglected and feel a lack of care & love. That makes us feel empty, tired and disconnected from others.
