Noah and a Dinosaur Named Tyron

Noah and a Dinosaur Named Tyron is a delightful tale, relayed in rhyme, about a clever dinosaur and his friendship with Noah, the hero of the biblical flood story. On a deeper level, the story teaches children that even those who don’t “fit in” can serve an important purpose. Tyron is heartbroken when he discovers he’s too tall to fit into the Ark. Instead of feeling sorry for himself, he thinks of a way to help Noah and his animal friends on the Ark find an ideal place to dock. The story also reinforces the idea that it’s all right to ask for help when we find ourselves in difficult situations. Tyron isn’t too proud to pray for a miracle; when an angel answers his prayer, Tyron is able to give Noah the unique support only he can provide. By helping others, Tyron becomes part of the voyage in an extraordinary way.
