11. TEMPLE OF VIOLENCE - SAHARA DESERT SERIES

When a monstrous sandstorm ravages the Sahara, Captain Pleuteur and his handful of Legionnaires are compelled to seek shelter in the ancient, forgotten Sata Temple. But the temple is no sanctuary. It is a crucible of peril. Here, Pleuteur’s path crosses with the vengeful Tuareg leader, Es Jissali, whose dark past is inextricably bound to Pleuteur by blood and an unquenchable hatred. Jissali has sworn an oath. Pleuteur will atone for his father’s death, and this tempestuous night offers the perfect opportunity.

The tension intensifies to breaking point when Pleuteur’s estranged wife, the adventurous aviatrix Suzette, is found at the temple following a dramatic plane crash. Suddenly, Pleuteur has even more to fight for, and another precious life is threatened by Jissali’s merciless hands. What ensues is a nightmarish cat-and-mouse game in the oppressive darkness. With the storm howling outside like a demon, the Temple of Violence becomes a lethal arena where every dark shadow may conceal an enemy. Loyalties are tested to the extreme, old wounds are reopened, and the Legionnaires perish one after another under the Tuaregs’ silent, deadly assaults. Jissali’s cold, calculated threats and his razor-sharp knives bring Pleuteur and Suzette to the brink of survival, trapped between the storm’s fury and an enemy solely bent on revenge.

Will the first light of morning find any survivors in this accursed temple? Can Pleuteur forge a last, desperate plan to survive the seemingly impossible, or will Jissali’s bloodthirsty vengeance ultimately triumph? The answer lies hidden in a deadly, ominous night where death lurks around every corner, striking suddenly when least expected.
