En ögonöppnare. Här går man och tror att tidig specialisering är en nödvändighet och att kunna lite om mycket är kuriosa snarare än kunskap, att det är bortkastad tid att byta kunskapsområde och smala specialister borde styra landet bäst ( ”we have the best scientists”). Tänk så fel man kan ha 😊

Interesting ideas but quite long and a bit repetitive. Could have been have as long. But definitely read the first few chapters!

Intressant. Men, från mitten och framåt ungefär är boken bara en upprepning med olika exempel från historien som syftar till att understryka argument för generalisering. Typiskt amerikanska böcker av den här typen...

Specialisering leder oss bort från kreativitet och innovation. Träna inte bara på en sak för att bli bäst på den. Bredda ditt fält och prova på annat.

Very interesting and enlightening in the beginning, but way (!) too long. The very detailed anecdotes never stopped coming and started to get annoying. I did not finish the listen. An abbreviated version would be good.
