His crimes stalk her like a shadow. Now Chloe has rebuilt her life. She’s a respected psychologist in Baton Rouge and has a loving fiancé. But she just can’t shake a tick-tick-tick of paranoia that, at any moment, it might all come crashing down.
As does something darker. It is the anniversary of her father’s crimes, and Chloe is about to see her worst fears come true – a girl she knows goes missing.
The nightmare has started again…

I feel I have consumed enough serial killer pop culture to figure out the plot and culprit of this story. Got bored by the internal monologue of the protagonist after a point of time. Average read.

Basically a 2 star thriller but was raised to another star by the twist at the end.The characters were boring and predictable. The story line was also filled with cliques. It was not at all an addictive read.

A good debut. While I've guessed the killer in first few chapters, but the journey to the final revelation and finding that the prediction was correct after all was thrilling.

It started great but you can easily predict the ending. All the twists and turns were just okayish....

Engrossing read that keeps you glued to the pages. Absolutely loved the narrative and writing style. All characters were well-potrayed.However, I felt the plot or the suspense was predictable.
