Her father just smashed her windshield at the catering gig. The billionaire in the lobby has a different plan for her night.

Kendal has been dodging her father since he got out on parole. One week clean, one week sober, one more week of Fred Avery promising he's changed — and then a golf club through the passenger window of the Corolla she needs for tomorrow's hair appointments. She's kneeling in the parking lot picking up glass when a hand offers her a handkerchief and a business card.

Joel Norouzi came to North Carolina to find the birth parents the Norouzis never told him about. He didn't expect to find a woman who flinches when the valet drops a key, or a violent ex-convict circling her like a shark.

He has a private jet, a Times Square penthouse, and no intention of letting Fred Avery get within a hundred miles of her again.

Secret billionaire. Rescue romance. Insta-protective alpha. Violent ex-father villain. NC small-town / NYC / yacht.
