Displacement

Displacement (Book 1 of 2 in the DISPLACEMENT Series) by J Thomas Hunton, narrated by Patrick Kelly Shannon and Janet Spots, and published by Audiobook Publishing Services, is a gripping science fiction thriller that takes listeners on a high-stakes journey through deep space, alien intelligence, time displacement, and the terrifying consequences of pushing technology beyond its limits.

When an advanced spacecraft embarks on a classified deep space mission, its crew encounters a mysterious space anomaly unlike anything humanity has ever experienced. What begins as a routine exploration mission becomes a desperate fight for survival when the crew discovers signs of alien intelligence and faces the possibility of a dangerous first contact.

As experimental wormhole travel and faster-than-light technology propel the spacecraft into unknown regions of the universe, catastrophic time displacement and parallel timelines emerge. Reality itself becomes uncertain as the crew struggles with impossible choices, command decisions, loyalty, sacrifice, and the ultimate question of human survival.

Blending hard science fiction, military sci-fi, space exploration, futuristic technology, cosmic mystery, alien communication, speculative physics, and space adventure, Displacement delivers an immersive and suspenseful listening experience. Carefully integrated background music, thoughtfully added by Jack Lewis of Audiobook Publishing Services, enhances key moments with greater atmosphere, tension, emotion, and cinematic impact.

If you enjoy space exploration novels, alien encounters, first contact science fiction, time travel, wormholes, parallel universes, military space fiction, and high-stakes sci-fi thrillers, Displacement launches the DISPLACEMENT series with a journey beyond the known universe—and into a battle for the future of humanity.
