A very addictive plot written in different time zones before and after a murder and narrated in multiple first persons that provides a perspective of various characters in the novel. Set in the backdrop of locations between England and France, this plot is based on deception, loneliness and loyalty represented an apt number of characters who are well sifted to the scheme. The story is intriguing from the beginning with more twists and twirls as the story progresses leaving the reader to keep reckoning the culprit behind the murder and kidnapping. At some time, it seemed that every character has some motive and therefore under suspicion for the conspiracy. The plot also shows how Television and social media can become judgemental on suspects in such cases and on the other hand a well-balanced police force who is determined to nab the true felon without being biased by the red herrings. This was my first book by Phoebe Morgan and looking forward to read more of her books in the future.
