The Fixer

Tommy Wiseman wants two things from Hollywood: a byline on a successful picture, and to be forgotten by the small town that drove him away. Three days into his job as Empire Pictures' lowest-paid scriptwriter, he gets neither — he gets a murdered studio fixer, a police cordon, and the undivided attention of the biggest movie star in America. Jack Lynley has spent his whole career being protected, managed, and dictated to by men who own every hour of his day. What he wants is simple and impossible: someone who will see him as a person and not just a star. When Jack seeks Tommy's help in finding the murdered fixer's notebook--a treasure trove of blackmail material if it falls into the wrong hands--an impossible partnership turns into an even more impossible friendship, and Tommy has to ask himself if he really wants to know where all the bodies are buried. The Fixer delivers a murdered studio fixer, a blackmailed matinee idol, and an M/M romance where the only man a star can trust is a junior scriptwriter miles out of his depth.. Perfect for readers who take their old Hollywood glamor shaken not stirred.
