The Imposter Monkey King

Xuanzang and his disciples encountered a group of bandits along the way, and the monkey killed them. Xuanzang was so angry about his mercilessness that he kicked the monkey out of the group. Xuanzang sent Pigsy and Sandy out for food, butXuanzang was struck unconscious by a mysterious monkey who took their luggage. Sandy went to the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit to ask Monkey King for the luggage, but was surprised to hear the monkey vow to go west to get the sutras himself. Sandy went to Guanyin for help and found the real Monkey King there with her. The imposter Monkey King looked identicaland had the same skills. No one could tell the difference between the two. It took the Buddha to identify the imposter monkey, who had been transformed by a six-eared macaque. The monkey returned to Xuanzang, and the team continued their journey westward.
