In 1709 AD, the Ottoman Empire is far from its old days. The glorious times are behind us, and although the Ottoman sword is sharp, it has grown old. While the throne struggles continue in Europe, Peter the Great's Russia and Charles XII's Sweden are in a relentless war. No one can foresee that the Great Northern War, which will earn Peter the title of Madman and Charles the title of Demirbaş, will one day ravage the Ottoman Empire. The storm that will break out will throw the Turkish girl Zeynep and the Swedish boy Gustav into inextricable whirlpools. While the fates of the Ottomans, Sweden and Russia are tied together, the fire burning in the hearts of the two young people do not even know what they are capable of. At the end of everything, the word 'Kalabalık' that will pass from Turkish to Swedish, although it seems insignificant among all that will happen, will become a symbol that connects the two cultures.
